Israel Frishberg
Israel Frishberg was born in1907 in Turisk, the eldest son of Rivka and Shimon Frishberg.in the family: the sisters Tova and Peapa, and theyoungest son Gad-(Fishel). The family operated a catering business, and was well off. Israel graduatet the Yeshive and studied economics and management. He had to cease studies because of his fathers illness and death. After returning home,Israel Joined Neta Wainer in managing the "Tarbut" Hebrew school. In spite of working hart to help mother in the business, he became involved in the Zionist activities, and a very dedicated one. After a short period of time he replaced Neta Wainer in managing and head master of the school. The activities he performed voluntarily until he married Tonia Teper,a teacher of Polish and musik in "Tarbut". His sister Peapa joined the hachshara kibuz in the city of Bialystoke for more than two years, and left for Palestine in 1935. She married Shlomo Yevin, and gave birth to two daughters: Elana and Dina. In1936 Israel and Tonia Frishberg immigrated to Palestine, Tonia became teacher in the I.C.O high school In Petah Tiqva. She served as teacher many years, and diyed of sudden illness. When arriving to Palestine, Israel, joined the underground "Hagana" resistance organization and was nominated director of an secret explosives factory. After the war of independence he was serving as one of the leaders of the weapons industry of Israel ,until his death.In 13.03.96. Israel was adored by all his friends as a model of a Jew, and a Zionist.

Gad Frishberg
Gad,the youngest son of the Frishberg family, was in Turisk when the Red army arrived and took over pover. As an active Zionist in Hashomer Hazair he could not remain in Turisk, and left secretly with the activists group for Vilnius, which became the Capitol of Lithuania. There they lived in very hard conditions, as refugees. After several month they managed to leave for Palestine, Gad was arrested by the British authorities. After several months he was released and joined his colleages . He graduated a teachers seminar, and joined the "Aliya department of the Jewish Agence. On the job in Raanana he met Martha who served as a babe nurse. They married, moved to Petah Tiqva and settled there. As public servants of the absorption department they were sent to Marseille France to care for the masses of Olim on their way to Israel. Martha gave birth of two: Rivka and Yaakov. And again on the job, they moved they moved to South Amerika for sevsral years. Back in Israel Gad continued on the job until his death in 19.12.96. Rivka Frishberg ,the mother and sister Toba (with husband) dieyd in 1942 together with all the community of Turisk.
